Mooi huisje vlakbij de stallen geleden, met daarin dieren met hoog aaibaarheid gehalte (ezels, varkens etc). Fantastisch zwembad en genoeg te doen voor kinderen. Vriendelijk mensen.

Davide stato da noi a Giugno 2017 e ha scritto (Tripadvisor)FATTORIA RELAX ! Ho soggiornato 7 notti con i miei due figli, 4 e 9 anni, appartamento VERONE, periodo fine giugno. La prima impressione l'assoluta calma e tranquillit che trasmette il posto, una fattoria operativa a tutti gli effetti, com' pi corretto definirla, pi che agriturismo. Bellissima zona piscina, molto grande, ottima per gli adulti, magari un po' al limite per bimbi sotto il metro e quaranta.. per per il mio piccolo c' n'era una esterna piccolina comunque ottima per farlo sguazzare. . Comoda l'area barbecue. Appartamento spazioso, assoluto silenzio di notte. All'arrivo viene rilasciata una guida sintetica dei principali servizi che si possono trovare al di fuori della fattoria, a pochi minuti, come prenotare una passeggiata a cavallo, luoghi da visitare, o altre attivit sportive. Per i bambini non ci sono particolari o specifiche attivit ludico/didattiche organizzate, si possono visitare comunque le stalle, o giocare negli ampi spazi esterni. Abbiamo passato una settimana di pieno relax, immersi nel verde. Se si cerca questo allora il posto ideale. Disponibili e cordiali i gestori, dolcissima la bella cagnolona, che ha conquistato i miei bimbi. Grazie di tutto!

Un ospite..anonimo stato a Marena in Giugno 2015 ed ha lasciato questo messaggio (tripadvisor - Fattoria di Marena):Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo meraviglioso agriturismo con un'altra coppia di amici in occasione della Casentino Bike. All'arrivo siamo stati calorosamente accolti dal "fattore", cos soprannominato da mio figlio, che ci ha assegnato gli appartamenti e fatto fare un giro della fattoria. Il posto bellissimo tranquillo pieno di animali con cui i bambini possono interagire...gli appartamenti sono molto grandi arredati in stile e soprattutto molto puliti...magari aggiungerei una lavatrice per chi soggiorna pi a lungo...visto che presente una comoda lavastoviglie!!! La piscina comoda e pulita ...se possibile consiglio di servire ai villeggiati almeno una piccola colazione...per chi come noi rimane solo una notte scomodo portare dietro la roba da mangiare o dover andare a fare la spesa...comunque complimenti!!! La pace e la tranquillit si trovano sicuramente alla Fattoria di Marena!!!

Agriturismo o fattoria??... fattoria o agriturismo?? tutte e due le cose insieme...appartamenti puliti e funzionali, grandi spazi nella fattoria e....animali come promesso. Capre, pecore, conigli, mucche, asini, galline, oche, cavalli ed un fantastico allevamento di Chianine!! la piscina attrezzata e sempre pulitissima. I miei figli si sono divertiti tantissimo e non vediamo l'ora di tornare!! Praticamente 15 gg volati e gi finiti....tutte le cose belle purtroppo hanno una fine!...un consiglio devo darlo ai viaggiatori....se non andate alla Fattoria di Marena, vi perdete qualcosa di unico nel suo genere!! I bambini hanno assaporato giornate a diretto contatto con la natura e si sono divertiti molto ad osservare gli animali presenti nella fattoria. Un ringraziamento anche a Isabella e suo marito che ci hanno accolti con disponibilit e simpatia.

Leonardo con la sua famiglia stato a Marena a Maggio 2015 ed ha scritto Ad accoglierci Isabella, una signora con l'amore per la sua fattoria negli occhi, e un profumato vaso di fiori freschi sulla tavola. Ci siamo trovati subito a proprio agio nell'appartamento rustico della fattoria, cucinando alla sera dinanzi al grande camino e gustando alla mattina le colazioni sotto il loggiato con l incantevole vista della campagna casentinese, il cinguettio dei tanti uccellini e la compagnia dei gatti della fattoria. Ci sono rimaste nel cuore anche le passeggiate all interno della fattoria dove Marina (nostra figlia di cinque mesi) ha visto per la prima volta le galline, gli asinelli, le mucche e le caprette. La descrizione della struttura coerente: immersa nella campagna ma vicina ai centri abitati pi importanti e caratteristici. Tempestiva ed esauriente stata la comunicazione con l'host per portare a termine la prenotazione. Isabella, mai invadente, pronta a dare molti utili consigli per il soggiorno e per vivere il casentino: luogo di relax, di camminate, di escursioni a cavallo o bicicletta, di meditazioni, di culto, di visite a borghi castelli musei santuari eremi; non mancano ovviamente eccellenze gastronomiche diffuse sul territorio. Per gli amanti della natura il casentino una meta tanto ambita quanto poco conosciuta, capace di offrire splendide vacanze d'estate come d'inverno. Mamakanela from Denmark visited the fArm in September 2014 and wrote We came across this lovely agriturismo because of its many activities for children. However, it turned out to be a very beautiful and peaceful stay for the adults as well! The apartments were huge and comfortable, with plenty of space for a family of four. The grounds of the farm are lovely and the gardens very well maintained. The pool is large, with plenty of space for the various guests staying at the farm. The horse-riding school was a delight for our daughter, as was the view of the white cows grazing on the hillside and the various animals around the grounds. We fell in love with the Casentino valley area and the small nearby towns of Bibbiena, Soci, and Poppi. A drive up into the hills brought us to La Verna, a sacred centuries-old sanctuary tucked on a mountainside, which had amazing views and a lovely restaurant for lunch. Isabella and Fabio are extremely welcoming and are always ready to share some history about the farm or provide suggestions about the area. We loved a little restaurant in Soci called La Vite and visited twice. This is a relatively undiscovered part of Tuscany that has so much to offer, and Fattoria di Marena is a perfect base in picturesque and charming surroundings.

Aixi from Mexico visited the Farm in July 2014, and wrote: This year we wanted to have a vacation in Tuscany and had high standards, regarding location and amenities; we wanted something near Florence, but not in the city; we heard then about agriturismo, but then there were dozens of those; one of our requirements was that the place had to have farm animals, because our daughter loves them. We reviewed several Italian agriturismo sites and found Fattoria di Marena as the salient candidate. The place seemed out of postcard in time: full of trees and flowers everywhere, and when there, we were not disappointed at all. Our villa has two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other with a full bed. Both bedrooms have old fashioned armoires, and a most beautiful sight of an unspoiled forest. At night, there were no noises at all, but the occasional nightbird, if at all. Also remarkable is the starred sky as we had not seen in a long time, along with a full moon those days. We visited in mid July, and the weather was magnificent, perhaps a little bit on the warm side during the day, but gorgeous at night, which made sleeping very comfy even without air conditioning. In the mornings, you get to see the Chianina-breed cows grazing. Do not rely on the rooster for wake up; he s got his clock sort of like a teenager s. The villa has a big bathroom by European standards, all along with a tub. The tub has a hand showerhead hard to position in a high place, but again, this seems the norm in Europe. The place is very clean (even my mom would approve). The entrance is through the kitchen-diner; this room sports a fireplace, and a well-equipped stove and modern cupboards, along with a fridge and a rustic sideboard which was formerly used in bread-making; there, you will find cutlery, dishes, cups and glasses, in case you wanted to have a meal right there. Be warned that stores and restaurants in Italy have peculiar hours, so plan ahead your meals, whether out or in Rondonaia. If you can catch it, there is a delivery van which brings pizza and bakery to the farm every day but Sundays at about 8:20am (yeah, about 1:20 am in our biological clock ). As with many things here, do not rely on your bank cards, much less in cash dollars; always have euros at hand. There is sort of a convenience store (seemingly the only one in Italy) next to a gas station on the short road from Bibbiena to Soci, near the joint to Marena; this place is seemingly run by family members, who are very kind people; they even sell panini, and have more reasonable hours than other establishments. Back to Rondonaia, the villa has a garden table and chairs just outside, which makes the ideal setting for a dinner al fresco, a must in a Tuscan villa. The farm has a very nice pool, large for the potential number of guests, surrounded by an ample area of grass, and trees. All of this is located on a hill, which contributes to great sights of this region of Tuscany. You can walk a little to where the cows feed, and if you walk a little further, you arrive to the equestrian facility, that while owned by other people, they happen to be relatives of the Marena owners. There you can arrange for a riding lesson with Alessandra, a very nice lady. For the kids, there is also the Pony Club, where they learn to take care of horses. Location is among the most remarkable features at Marena, and there are plenty of things to do nearby. You can read about them, along with very interesting background in the booklet provided at the arrival by Isabella, the owner. She and her husband, Fabbio, are extremely nice persons, and without a doubt, they contributed largely to make our stay very pleasant. Of course, a car is beyond advisable, and driving in Italy (outside Rome) is not the hell some folks would have you think. Florence is an hour-and-something drive away, and the scenery is wonderful. There are hills and lots of curves on the road, which make it desirable to rent a decently powered vehicle. You get to pass through Poppi, one of the so-called most beautiful villages in Italy , and you must not forget to pay a visit, especially to the castle, and the nearby restaurant (Albergo Ristorante Casentino), which is very reasonably priced and has scrumptious pastas, with lots of seemingly local patrons. Poppi is also got a local-fauna zoo, nice for the kids. We also drove to Rome, less than three-hours away, but that s a different story. On our last part of the journey, we left Marena headed to beautiful Venice, about a four-hour drive away. If you have more time than we did, you could also consider going to Pisa, Vinci, etc.

Appartamenti ampi , silenziosi e puliti, immersi nella tranquillita' della fattoria. Possibilita' di noleggiare muntain bike, o di prenotare lezioni di equitazioni presso una struttura confinante. Serenita' e pace, a due passi dai Monasteri di Camaldoli e di La Verna. Sicuramente ritorneremo con molto piacere.

Innanzitutto immersi nella natura e nel silenzio assoluto, l'unico "rumore" poteva giusto essere il cinguettio degli uccelli! Abbiamo ricevuto un'ottima accoglienza da parte di ogni componente della famiglia ed stato molto piacevole, la sera, incontrarsi e chiacchierare lungo il viale percorrendo la bella passeggiata tra le lucciole ed i grilli! L'accoglienza stata ottima; l'appartamento ampio, pulito e funzionale (apprezzato anche dalla nostra gattina); silenzio, relax e tranquillit garantiti in abbondanza; piscina ben curata e 'bella fresca' (grazie Piero!); comoda la possibilit di visitare luoghi d'arte incantevoli e la stupenda foresta casentinese... non potevamo sperare e chiedere di pi . Confermo poi che l'ambiente rende facile anche l'incontro tra gli ospiti. Caterina di Padova stata in Fattoria tante volte, nel 2013 scrive: Sono ormai passati tanti anni dalla prima volta che ho messo piede alla Fattoria di Marena, e devo dire che sempre rimasta un ottimo rifugio dallo stress della citt e un'occasione per passare del tempo a contatto con la natura! Le case dove si alloggia sono tipiche ed accoglienti (e molto fresche in estate!), c' una bellissima piscina dove rilassarvi e per gli appassionati di equitazione come me anche la possibilit di fare qualche passeggiata per godere della natura casentinese da una "prospettiva privilegiata". Ultimo ma non per importanza la famiglia Nati Poltri che vi ospiter davvero molto disponibile e vi troverete senz'altro in un'atmosfera molto familiare!

... from Germany visited the farm in May 2013 and wrote: Unsere Anreise in die Toskana hatten wir heuer mit einem Boxenstop am Comer See geplant. Und wir wurden hinsichtlich des Wetters nicht entt uscht. Dadurch wurde die Anreise zur Fattoria di Marena deutlich entspannter. Der Bauernhof von Isabella und ihrem Mann hat Charm. Typische Toskanische H user mit einer entsprechenden Patina und den St llen die K he,Pferde, Ziegen, Schweine, Esel und H hner beherbergen. Der Swimmingpool und die Liegewiese sowie das Umkleidegeb ude sind hervorragend. Hier und da w nscht man sich das man einen Eimer Farbe verwendet h tte aber das macht ja auch den Charm dieser Gegend aus. Nicht alles sollte perfekt sein. Isabella stand uns immer mit Rat zur Seite und speziell ihr Restaurant Tip wahr spitzenm ssig. Leider spielte das Wetter uns einen Streich und liess den einen oder anderen Ausflug buchst blich ins Wasser fallen. Nichts destotrotz ist die Fattoria di Marena eine Empfehlung wert. Kurz eine klare Empfehlung hier vorbei zuschauen und seinen Toskanaurlaub zu verbringen.

La natura bellissima fa da cornice alle case di fattori e contadini trasformate in accoglienti alloggi, dalla tipica semplicit toscana, che regalano un bel fresco anche in piena estate. La disponibilit e la gentilezza della famiglia Nati Poltri fa sentire un po' come a casa e tra una passeggiata a cavallo e una giornata in piscina, le serate d'estate passano piacevolmente ascoltando concerti della rassegna Pievi e Castelli in musica. Cos ho scoperto molti luoghi suggestivi del Casentino e conto di tornare per vedere quelli che ancora mi mancano.

Rita di Milano stata in Fattoria pi volte, nel 2013 scrive:Io e la mia famiglia con i nostri 3 cagnolini abbiamo soggiornato nel 2011 solo per una settimana, ci siamo tornati nel 2012 per tutto il mese di agosto e per il ponte di ognissanti e trascorreremo di nuovo tutto il mese di agosto 2013 in questa stupenda fattoria. L'ambiente stupendo e rilassante a contatto con la natura, i miei bimbi si divertono tanto in piena libert e anche i miei 3 cagnoloni fanno delle bellissime e lunghe passeggiate nei boschi circostanti. Gli alloggi sono comodi spaziosi e pulitissimi. Il personale sempre disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi problema dovesse insorgere durante il soggiorno e i proprietari gentilissimi. Una famiglia di nostri amici ha prenotato l'anno scorso per la prima volta ed stata entusiasta del soggiorno tant' che anche quest'estate ci ritorner per 3 settimane. Io e i miei bambini Federico e Leonardo ( 9 e 6 anni ) abbiamo recentemente trascorso due settimane incantevoli presso l Agriturismo Fattoria di Marena a Bibbiena in Toscana. La fattoria proprio come descritto sul sito web ed stato per noi il posto perfetto per rilassarci. Marena uno dei migliori agriturismi in cui abbiamo mai soggiornato, un luogo bellissimo, immerso nel verde e nel silenzio; I proprietari, Isabella, Fabio e Piero sono persone splendide, simpatiche e sempre molto disponibili. L agriturismo va oltre le pi rosee aspettative. Gli appartamenti sono curati e arredati con gusto, immersi in un tipico paesaggio toscano, lontano da rumore e strade; c ' anche una grande piscina tuffata nel verde a disposizione degli ospiti. L agriturismo Marena un autentica fattoria, ci sono tanti animali: le chianine, le caprette, le galline, i conigli, i cavalli, l asino, cani e gatti. Durante il soggiorno Federico e Leonardo hanno frequentato la scuola di equitazione con monta all inglese gestita dall insegnante Alessandra e si sono divertiti un mondo, potendo anche partecipare attivamente alla vita della scuderia.

The colours of the trees in Tuscany in the fall are unique; we don't seem to get that kind of lovely colours in Belgium. Our two boys loved all the animals on the farm, and also the zoo in Poppi was a great succes. They even liked the visit in Palazzo Vecchio in Firenze (spotting the horses on the paintings and the ceilings was great fun). Furthermore most restaurants in Italy are far more child-friendly than in Belgium (and every child likes pasta!). Please give our regards to everyone on the farm, and from Joran and Linus especially to the kittens, the cats, the fish, Tasha, Brunello and the other goats, the donkey, horses, cows, chickens, ducks and the roosters.

Maggie from Canada was in Marena in august 2010 and wrote us: We recently returned from spending 9 nights at Fattoria di Marena with our 7 year old son, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Isabella and her family are very welcoming, accommodating and give wonderful advice for day trips, restaurants and local foods to sample. We stayed in a very clean and spacious two bedroom apartment-villa across from the main house, with high timbered ceilings and beautiful rustic furnishings. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even a cold meal waiting for us in the fridge for our arrival in case we were late. The setting was very authentic with a small scale operating farm (beef cattle) and a menagerie of other animals to keep children entertained - chickens, ducks, donkey, goats, dog and cats. There is a nice long farm roadway, which is great for morning and evening walks among the fields and animals. A large, clean pool with a beautiful view over the countryside was a focal point - and a meeting place for the various families staying on the farm (there are about half a dozen different lodgings). A children's riding school operates on the farm - our son took one lesson, but I wish we had arranged for more. The instructor, Alessandra, is very professional, great with children and has beautiful horses. Another unique feature of the farm was the daily morning visit of 'the bread lady' who arrived with a truckload of fresh breads and pizzas (the onion pizza was our favourite) to purchase. The location is wonderful for families - many interesting day trips are possible - Poppi castle and zoo, La Verna Monastery (my personal favourite), Arezzo, Cortona, and various other churches, castles and monasteries. Bibbiena is a good size town with all amenities, and Soci, just a couple of KM away, is a really nice little village with a lively square on a Friday or Saturday night, a weekly farmer's market and a wonderful little restaurant (La Vita) that Isabella recommended and we visited twice! Definitely, a memorable stay for us and an experience we would highly recommend.

Anselmo di Milano stato in Fattoria nell'Agosto 2010 e scrive: All'ultimo minuto abbiamo deciso di fare una settimana nel Casentino per smaltire lo stress accumulato; non potevamo fare una scelta migliore! Il nostro appartamento (arco) era in un edificio diviso in tre unit e distante qualche centenario di metri dalla fattoria dove c' la casa principale, gli altri appartamenti, il maneggio, le stalle e la piscina. La fattoria era raggiungibile in pochi minuti sia passando dalla strada sia tramite un sentiero che nostro figlio di tre anni e mezzo adorava. L'appartamento, molto grande, composto da un grande locale con zona soggiorno con camino e zona pranzo, due camere e bagno. Fuori c' inoltre un gazebo con tavolo, sedie e barbecue. Il posto bellissimo, il panorama incantevole ed i posti nelle vicinanze da visitare sono tantissimi. Infine i proprietari sono sempre stati molto disponibili, cos come l'insegnante di equitazione.

Natalia from Riga was in Marena in June 2010 and wrote: First of all I would like to thank Isabella and her family for the perfect vacation we just have had. We have visited 3 places in Tuscany, but her place was the best! Its a nice country house near Bibbiena village, just 30 km from Arezzo. We had 3 spacious rooms with an amazing view on the forest, which at night was fascinating by the lights or fireflies, which was almost a fairytale view. The farm was great! Our daughter made friendship with Tasha, an absolutely adorable dog, and was excited to visit cows, horses, meet a donkey or goats, play with cats. I would certainly recommend this place for those who are looking for a runaway from busy towns and wants to enjoy peace and nature. Isabella was also very helpful and nice.

Gentilissima Sig Isabella e famiglia, volevamo ringraziare per l'ospitalita e le attenzioni da voi date ai nostri riguardi, ci siamo trovati benissimo per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno..
Al nostro arrivo ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio: a nostra figlia piaciuta molto la visita agli animali che avete alla fattoria.
L'appartamento Verone a noi affidato era molto carino e accogliente, pulito, tranquillo e fresco.
Un ottimo contesto per passare una settimana in tutto relax, la piscina sempre in ordine e pulita, il maneggio ben attrezzato e amministrato da persone competenti, sono state delle giornate favolose.

My family had a wonderful stay at Fattoria di Marena. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, spacious and very child friendly. The farm is beautiful with lots of room to get out for walks. My two year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed going to visit the goats and chickens everyday and the riding lessons my eleven-year-old daughter took were the highlight of her trip. There was plenty to see and do locally, when we didn't want to go far, but the drive to Florence is very scenic and only takes about an hour. If you are looking for a slower pace this is a very nice place to stay and I particularly recommend it to people who have children.

Op de foto's van de accomodatie is niet te zien hoe ruim en verzorgd alles is. Wij vonden het erg leuk en fijn hier. Alles zeer goed verzorgd, erg aardige eigenaren. Bij aankomst kregen we een uitgebreide lijst met alle bezienswaardigheden en restaurants die de moeite waard zijn. Erg van genoten.

Dear Sig Isabella, Buon jiorno, It has only past a week since we have returned from Toscana and steel the taste remained on our lips.... The rooms were clean and comfortable,with an amazing view to the woods and the other vilages around, The swiming pool and its area were amaizing as well . We felt like we had all the privecy we needed and yet we felt we could consult you about any issue that may be revealed. The access to and from the farm is easy and convenient as well, which made everything really easier. We enjoyed taking you'r advices about the track we wanted to do. On this trip we did not had the opertunity of riding you'r horses but we are looking forward on the future... Unfortunally we spended only 5 days in the area ,so no doubt we intend to visit Italy and toscana again, and you'r farm in particularly . Thank You

Da molti anni ormai (quasi 18) conosciamo e frequentiamo la Fattoria Marena, che per noi diventato il luogo del relax e dell immersione nella natura. I signori Alessandro e Annamaria e i loro figli Piero e Isabella con le loro famiglie ci hanno accolto fina dalla prima volta con simpatia e disponibilit , accompagnandoci poi in tutti questi anni nella conoscenza dei luoghi e delle bellezze della Fattoria e del territorio. Amiamo questi luoghi per tanti motivi: per la loro verde bellezza, per l accessibilit dei boschi e delle foreste, per la calma che li pervade, per la vita tranquilla che offre la vacanza in fattoria, per la cura con la quale le case che ci hanno ospitato in questi anni( ne abbiamo frequentate parecchie )sono arredate e mantenute, per il clima accogliente e discreto che la famiglia sa creare attorno agli ospiti, per la Storia che si respira nei luoghi del circondario e per le opportunit di fare base a Marena per visitare citt d arte e luoghi storici in Toscana e anche in Umbria e Marche, che non sono poi cos distanti. Insomma, a rischio di sembrare noiosi, abbiamo adottato Fattoria Marena come un luogo verde per gli occhi e per lo spirito, dove abbiamo sempre trovato un ambiente che ci ha permesso di rigenerare la nostra energia con le sue molteplici proposte. Abbiamo molto passeggiato, nella splendida foresta Casentinese, e abbiamo sempre potuto godere di varie ed interessanti proposte per il tempo libero offerte dal territorio, che vanno dal divertimento del Cinema sotto le stelle nei paesi limitrofi, al Festival di musica d organo alla Verna, a pochi chilometri dalla Fattoria, alle Fiere tipiche nei dintorni, alla musica di Pievi e Castelli in musica insomma, davvero c da scegliere! Ma soprattutto apprezziamo la calma e il silenzio, il panorama e la piscina, la vita semplice e la disponibilit della famiglia Nati Poltri.

Our stay at Fattoria-Marena was one of the best holidays we have had. The farm offered a very comfortable home for our time in Casentino, fresh air and beautiful scenery to wake up to every day. The vast mountainous expanse within the National Park provided wonderful walking trails through rich, silent forests, with frequent opportunities for detours to historic villages and towns where one finds beautiful examples of traditional architecture and culture. Every day offered something new, we found we could happily alternate nature hikes with visits to such picturesque centres as Poppi, Stia, Badia Prataglia, La Verna, each with their own unique treasures to explore. Proximity to larger centres such as Florence, Sienna, Arezzo, Assisi make this area especially attractive, although our daily excursions within Casentino amply filled our time. The farm is in the perfect spot for exploring Florence, Arezzo, San Marino and even Rome is not far. As in all of Italy, good wine and good food are daily precense: so just lean back and enjoy. But we were also concerned to see all the flooding in europe - hopefully Toscana did not suffer? Our hearts are full of our very happy time in Italia, and especially our time in the Casentino Valley, staying in your lovely farmhouse FORNACE. For us, we were able to do so many things during our week there - visiting nearby Poppi, visiting Firenze, buying beautiful fresh food each day & cooking it that night, walking to Bibbiena to have some of the best gelato in Italia, relaxing by Fatorria Marenas swimming pool, going for mountain bike rides, driving into the Apennini to visit the monastery of La Verna, having picnics and enjoying everything that makes Toscana so special. Bibbiena is perfectly placed to enjoy so many things, and we certainly got to enjoy a lot of them! We were pleasantly surprised at how close the Apennini are and how very pretty the Casentino Valley is - a fantastic part of Toscana. And thank you very much for all of your hospitality Isabella. Your help with everything before we left New Zealand was kind, and you made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Fornace was the ideal house for us to stay in, and we felt very comfortable there. When we booked our holidays in Bibbiena we did not know anyone who had been to that part of Toscana. The Casentino valley area is so beautiful and it was very convenient to visit beautiful places like Florence, Poppi, Siena and Arezzo. We loved the accommodation we had. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was lovely to stay somewhere that has so much history and which is so typically Toscana rather than the purpose built tourist resorts. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a true Toscana working farm. Aimee loves horses so having a riding school there was great for us. It was delightful to sit by the lovely swimming pool and take in the wonderful scenery. We did not experience the restaurants nearby as we enjoyed cooking at the house either on the oven or on the BBQ. We usually ate out at lunchtime wherever we were.
